Midweek is often where we feel it, the weight of responsibilities, the pressure of expectations, and sometimes, the quiet realization that we may have drifted.
But growth is not found in never drifting. It is found in knowing how to return.
Alignment is the ability to recognize when your thoughts, emotions, and actions are no longer in agreement with God and intentionally bring them back.
Scripture reminds us:
“Let us examine our ways and test them, and let us return.” Lamentations 3:40
There is power in reflection. It creates awareness. And awareness creates the opportunity for correction.
Scripture also teaches:
“Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you.” James 4:8
Realignment begins with a decision to pause, to step back from distraction, and to reconnect with God’s presence and direction.
Today, take a moment to check within:
Where have I lost focus?
Where have I acted out of emotion instead of alignment?
Where do I need to return?
Do not ignore the drift. Address it.
Because realignment restores clarity.
Realignment restores peace.
Realignment restores direction.
And often, the strongest progress comes not from pushing harder, but from returning to center.
Let today be that moment of return.
